Published article count was 47 in May vs 24 in April - the extras all being student pieces. Published comments were 394 in May, vs 406 in April. We didn’t publish 16 abusive, content-free or incomprehensible comments in May, vs 7 in April, vs 26 in March: Alan Curran and Marilyn jointly win the 'top abuser' awards this time. Total comments intended for publication and not published: 16/410=3.9%.
Excluding search crawlers, robots and other non-human visitors, 23,859 people visited the site in May, vs 22,112 in April. Total visits 38,212.
Finances
Income in May was the traditional $10 donation, plus USD34.57 from Google Adsense, versus expenditure of $13 for bank fees. Total funds in the bank account $2678.19. Next month we'll get a total of USD118 in cash from Google: no idea what that will be in Aussie $$, but probably somewhere between AUD131 and AUD168 !
