"With best wishes for the future of the new Webdiary Community, The Daily Briefing will go on, resuming the life of the independent media service that it had previously. It would be great to have some of the Webdiary readers who have come to appreciate TDB join it as subscribers. If you go here you can sign up for a month's free trial of the daily email. Anyone who signs up for a free trial with some variation of the word "webdiary" as their password, or part of it, can have a three month free trial.Subscriptions cost $77 a year; or $55 if you supply another email address for someone who might also like a free trial. But anyone who uses a version of "webdiary" as their password can have a 12 months subscription for $44 - just sign up for 6 months at that price and your subscription will automatically be extended to 12 months." The Daily Briefing 8/12/05

Whatever the future may hold for Webdiary and Margo, The Daily Briefing will go on, resuming the life of the independent media service that it had previously. Prior to entering into the agreement to publish TDB on Webdiary, it had been operating for 12 months on a subscription model, with subscribers receiving an email each morning.

It would be great to have some of the Webdiary readers who have come to appreciate TDB join it as subscribers. If you go here you can sign up for a month's free trial of the daily email. Anyone who signs up for a free trial with some variation of the word "webdiary" as their password, or part of it, can have a three month free trial.

Subscriptions cost $77 a year; or $55 if you supply another email address for someone who might also like a free trial. But anyone who uses a version of "webdiary" as their password can have a 12 months subscription for $44 - just sign up for 6 months at that price and your subscription will automatically be extended to 12 months.

The sudden demise of Webdiary has given cause for a few anxious moments over at TDB, so if you are interested to sign up, that would be much appreciated.

In the meantime, I have come to a loose arrangement with Hamish to continue to have a working relationship with Webdiary, if and when appropriate.
