Management Update 21I'm currently in the UK and not around on the site except very occasionally, so the following is just a quick summary. Margo and Fiona are also traveling over the next few days, so responses may be a little slower than usual. Site statisticsJune published article count was up from 14 in May to 20 in June, many of those from the resurgent Margo. Published comments were up from 652 in May to 944 in June. Total traffic to the site was up from 24,769 unique
visitors in May to 26,866 in June. As in May, the biggest inbound
traffic source site was Nebuchadnezzar's Woolly Days blogspot. We
didn’t publish 24 abusive, content-free or incomprehensible comments. FinancesIncome in June was $145 in donations and $192.04 from Google Adsense, total $337.04 versus expenditure of $13. Cash in the bank at end June was $1080. We have a current liability to James Cook Uni of $200 for a
year's hosting, and income to come from Google for June of approx $45 (USD38.83). For the past financial year, total income was $2.732.81 in donations and $1,249.57 from adverts, total $4,001.56, while total expenditure was $5,227.83, of which $4,286.43 was on the now-terminated contract with Project Syndicate.

And the gang's all here
Happy 7th birthday, Webdiary
Hello. David Davis has reminded me that Webdiary turned 7 on July 4. . Amazing. I've just reread We turned 5 today.
I wrote that piece while in the middle of termination talks with Fairfax and trying with a heap of Webdiarists to get a new site ready to go.
It's thanks to all of you that we turned 6, and now 7. It's good to be back.
Love to all,
Margo
