Dear Ms Kingston
Dear Ms Kingston,
Every word is true and happened.
For some extra qualification: (i) Saw Ross Gittins (live-in-concert), Sydney Town Hall, 1986 (ii) For references, give Rosie Beaten (triple j - SuperRequest) a bell or Angela Catterns (vega, breakfast, 95.3).
Mum didn't like you because she was 100% positive that you were (i) a lesbian and (ii) a student or acolyte of Germaine Greer. I just thought you were a journalist. Don't panic - she liked Menzies. Dad liked Menzies too, but he was a swinging voter and sometimes pointed out your SMH columns for my attention.
I don't know what a spoof is anymore. I know what a Mel Brooks spoof is, a la "Get Smart", but these days I've seen spoofs made and sold as serious television.
Go hard.
Stephen Johnson
(the ScaryMan).
